London is a beautiful, sprawling city... but knowing where to go and for what can be a challenge. As for the very best destinations for suit-shopping? That’s where I come in.
First, my credentials: I’ve been a menswear expert for the past decade, chronicling all the newest trends, affordable celeb stylings and best spots for your investment since the start of my specialism in 2019. Simply put, I know the power of a good suit.
But I also know the of a good suit. However, despite what you might think, there’s more out there than just what’s available on Savile Row. Below I’ve listed my five favourite spots for suit shopping in London, all of which can sort you out with a great suit for south of £700.
Batch LDN is unlike any other suit shop on the market right now. Run by the approachable and kind Julian Osbourne, Batch is the ultimate suiting destination for a man who doesn’t really like a traditional suit. Replacing classic lapels and blazer traditions with something more utilitarian, Batch’s suits take on a more utilitarian feel, inspired by old-school workwear and French chore jackets.

Also for the edgier man – but operating a little more within the norm – Percival’s take on suiting is defined by its boxier approach to silhouettes. Sharp but not shouty, a Percival suit can go anywhere from weddings to formal workplaces to fashion events and everything in between.

Okay, this time I’m cheating a little. Though headquartered in Richmond, Spoke doesn’t actually have a physical shop anywhere, let alone in London – but hear me out.
