Police have said a man who sexually assaulted a 38-year-old woman in Arbroath may have been a dog walker.
Officers were called to Arbirlot Road near Monymusk Road at about 06:10.
The suspect was described as white, aged between 18 and 30, with blonde hair tied in a bun. He spoke with a local accent.
He was wearing a dark hooded top and baseball cap and may have been walking a tan-coloured dog.

She said: "We are following a number of lines of inquiry in relation to this incident and we would urge anyone with information that could assist our investigation to please contact us."
