Arsenal make Ethan Nwaneri decision as young star set for Deadline Day medical

Ethan Nwaneri is expected to join Borussia Dortmund after Arsenal signed off on a season-long loan.
The teenager will fly to Germany today to undergo a medical and sign the paperwork for what he hopes will prove to be a more positive loan spell.
Nwaneri spent the second half of last season at Marseille but had very limited playing time and also faced questions over his commitment.
Dortmund, who tried to sign Nwaneri permanently 12 months ago before he agreed a new long-term contract with the Gunners, are viewed as an appealing option for his development.
The Bundesliga club will cover Nwaneri's salary for the duration of the loan and it is understood that there is no obligation or option to make the deal a permanent one.
Nwaneri's priority has been to secure regular first-team football and Arsenal have been clear with the fact that would be difficult at the club this season.
The number of departures in forward areas that are expected at Arsenal had potentially opened the door to Nwaneri staying.
The numbers in attack are already being trimmed, with Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira all expected to seal moves away before the window shuts.
Leandro Trossard departed earlier in the summer too and Christos Tzolis has been the only signing in forward areas.
Arsenal do look potentially light of options on the left wing, but with Nwaneri used on the right or centrally, it has been decided that his pathway into the first team remains too blocked.
Dortmund have been monitoring his situation and made their formal approach after it was confirmed that Giannis Konstantelias had suffered an ACL injury.
With fears of a long spell on the sidelines for the summer signing made official, Nwaneri has been turned to as a replacement.
