Declan Rice has been honoured with a mural to celebrate his Arsenal career so far.

The England international has become a club legend since his £100million move from West Ham back in 2023.

He lifted the Premier League trophy for the first time in his career last term, helping the Gunners to their first English top-flight title in 22 years.

The midfielder is a key cog in Mikel Arteta’s engine room at the Emirates Stadium, solidfying himself as one of the first names on the Spaniard’s team sheet.

Now, after 161 appearances in all competitions for the north London outfit, he has been painted into their history books.

Rice has been given a mural on Holloway Road, just a stone’s throw from the club’s home ground, which has been designed by Mural Republic.

It will celebrate the Topps Flagship Premier League card collection, which will feature Rice’s ‘Gold Lion’ card.

The 27-year-old will be hoping to get one over his boyhood club, Chelsea, this afternoon, with Xabi Alonso’s side making the trip across the capital.

The Blues have won both their opening fixtures under the Spanaird, beating Fulham 3-2 and Brighton and Hove Albion 5-2 in their first two matches of the new campaign.

A new-look front three of Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and £117million summer signing Morgan Rogers will be a threat to Rice and Arsenal, but the champions are known for their watertight defence, which is still missing William Saliba, who is sidelined with a back injury that he played through last season.
