Amazon Prime Day 2026 is the perfect time to save on technology that makes your life a whole lot easier, from robot vacuums to fans – and Ring video doorbells have some of the best discounts we’ve seen. The Amazon-owned company is among the most popular picks when it comes to home security.

The video doorbells boast a sleek design, whether you're choosing battery-powered, power-over-ethernet or wired. If you’re constantly getting deliveries but never seem to be home, are heading on holiday, or just want to keep an eye on what’s going on outside your front door, Ring’s video doorbells are a must-have.

But it’s not just the famous video doorbells that Ring has to offer. Its wireless outdoor security cameras are ideal for keeping an eye on the kids in the garden, or finding out which city fox has been trying to make its way through your cat flap. Then there are the plug-in indoor cameras, which are especially useful for checking in on pets – with the option to have a two-way conversation with them (whether they bark or meow).

Right now, there are huge discounts of up to 70 per cent off, so there’s no better time to invest in your home security.

Upgrade your home security system with Amazon’s top-spec Ring video doorbell. When tech critic David Phelan reviewed the device, he called it “stylish and attractive”. “Images are sharp thanks to 4K video quality, and you can zoom in with rich detail,” he added. “Ring is part of Amazon and integrates with Alexa: if you have an Echo speaker with a display, the doorbell’s video will appear instantly on screen, along with a notification on your phone.”

When we spotted this huge saving of almost 70 per cent, we were surprised it hadn't already sold out. Now at the lowest price we've seen, this indoor and outdoor security duo lets you see who's at the door, answer deliveries, check in on pets and monitor any room – all from the convenience of your phone.

You’ve probably spotted your neighbours, or heard that your parents have finally caved and bought their own, and now, with a very generous 69 per cent off, it’s time to get your own. Available in mocha, grey and white, the new generation camera has a 2K video and six times zoom, and the ability to see true colour evening during darker hours, thanks to night vision.

There’s no point in having a video doorbell if your phone will forever be on silent, or you’re always in the office upstairs, and can’t listen out for it. This duo, which also comes with a 30-day free trial of the Ring subscription plan, gives you not only peace of mind over your home security but also allows you to hear that famous Ring chime from anywhere in your home.

Amazon-owned Blink caters for lower budgets, but works just as smoothly as Ring with Amazon Alexa-powered smart households. “Chunky and understated”, our tester David described the doorbell’s setup as easy and the weatherproofing as impressive. And with 60 per cent off, it’s an excellent, affordable upgrade.

Reduced by 30 per cent in Amazon’s sale, Google’s nest doorbell impressed our reviewer. “This one looks terrific: slim and elegant in a simple all-white casing.” He prasied the good video quality – including HDR to make things look especially clear – and how quickly it leaps into action, with the live stream feed appearing on your phone fast. “Offering a vertical rather than horizontal field of view, it shows visitors from head to toe.. and there are lots of features, including differentiating between cars, parcels and animals.”
