A glamorous A-lister cast is about to enter castle for another season of plotting, betrayals and excellent outfits. To honour the occasion, Boden has just debuted its autumn collection, aptly named ‘To The Castle’.

Embracing our obsession with Claudia Winkleman’s aspirational wardrobe on the BBC game show, Boden’s new drop is characterised by tartan, knitwear, cords and kilts. All the pieces are gloriously -coded but still feel wearable day-to-day.

With creative direction by none other than Claudia’s own stylist, Sinead McKeefry, the campaign styling perfectly complements the romantic Highlands aesthetic.

From a red check kilt to a pink fair isle knit and burgundy cord suit, every piece is standout – and seemingly plucked straight from Claudia's covetable wardrobe. My personal highlight? The Hereford tartan military jacket, which adds flair to one of this season’s key outerwear trends.

Ahead of the celebrity season premiering tomorrow (1 October), I’ve rounded up my favourite pieces from Boden’s autumn collection for channelling castle aesthetic in the city.

Boden pleated midi skirt

This kilt is exactly something Claudia would appear at breakfast in. The pleated midi wraps across the front of the body, with two tartan buckles. The maroon print is more wearable than you think: style with a thin grey turtleneck and black boots, or contrast the edge with black ballet flats and a white vest top.

Boden Hereford military wool jacket

If you’re yet to meet your hero autumn jacket, let me introduce you to Boden’s Hereford military style. Military jackets are a major trend this autumn; Boden’s take adds tartan character and a flattering fitted cut. Gold-tone buttons and a stand-up collar add to the sophisticated, smart feel.

Boden patch wool coat

An outerwear style that does a lot of legwork in your wardrobe, this wool coat is cut into a cocooning silhouette. The midi length is teamed with a spread collar, large patch pockets and a button-down front fastening. The navy, green and blue tartan finish adds intrigue to the simplist of outfits.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Claudia conducted a tense roundtable in Boden’s Stamford trouser suit this season. Mirroring the TV show’s drama, the Stamford blazer and matching trousers (£159, Boden.co.uk) are finished in a statement maroon check. The classic blazer is double-breasted and fitted, while the trousers boast a slightly flared leg and flattering high-waisted cut.

Boden chunky fair isle jumper

A fair isle knit can prop up your wardrobe year after year. This Boden number boasts a feminine pink finish with red embroidery, injecting some colour into your winter outfit rotation.

Another tailor-made autumn outfit, the Keswick blazer is complete with matching cord trousers (£119, Boden.co.uk). Cord is a signature material in Claudia’s wardrobe – and the cosy fabric is synonymous with the autumnal season. The Keswick style is finished in a rich dark crimson shade – it practically screams castle.
