An eight-year-old boy has been taken to hospital for treatment after being hit by a vehicle in Perth.

The incident happened on Crieff Road at about 08:50.

The road was closed between Tulloch Road and Fairfield Road for about an hour as a result of the collision.

There is currently no information on the condition of the boy.
