Can Michael Olise play for Bayern Munich against Arsenal after Champions League red card?

Michael OIise was shown a shock red card in Bayern Munich’s most recent Champions League outing, in what could only be seen as a huge boost for Arsenal.
The Gunners are set to take on the Bundesliga outfit in the league phase on Wednesday, and the Frenchman’s sending-off last time out sees the Frenchman banned for Premier League champions’ visit to the Allianz Arena.
However, confusion was raised when the winger was seen training with his team-mates ahead of the encounter, in a move that seemed as though the former Crystal Palace star was preparing to feature against the north Londoners.
That, however, is not the case, as Olise’s suspension, picked up for two yellow cards, lasts just one European match, and that comes against Arsenal this week.

As such, he will not be able to play, and Aaron Danks, Vincent Kompany’s assistant manager, will have a decision to make as to who replaces the forward on the right flank.
Kompany, the Bayern head coach, will not be on the touchline to face Mikel Arteta due to picking up a viral infection, so Danks, who worked under the ex-Manchester City defender at Anderlecht, will take charge.
Lennart Karl is an option to come into Bayern’s front four, with summer signing Ismael Saibari operating in the No10 position in the 6-1 demolition of RB Leipzig at the weekend.
Karl, 18, started in the 3-3 draw at Viking, but he could be selected centrally with Saibari shifting wide right, with Luis Diaz completing the attacking midfield trident behind Harry Kane.
Olise’s absence will be heavily felt by the German champions, as the French international has eight goals in nine appearances in all competititons so far, to follow on from his 39 strikes across his first two seasons in Germany.
