Carabao Cup third round draw in full: Arsenal and Chelsea learn next test as Tottenham face Liverpool

The Carabao Cup third-round draw is now complete, with Arsenal and Chelsea among the clubs learning their next opponents.
Things will get particularly interesting at this stage of the competition, with Premier League heavyweights entering the fray. That sees the Gunners, Manchester United and Liverpool all enter the draw for the first time.
Chelsea are yet to confirm their place in the third round - they host Luton Town in the second round on Thursday evening - but Tottenham are through after they eased past Charlton Athletic on Wednesday, with new big-money forward Savio scoring on debut. They have been handed a tricky trip to face Liverpool.
West Ham, Coventry, and Ipswich all took early kick-offs on Tuesday as they booked their places in the next stage.
With seeded sides competing in Europe unable to play one another in the third round, a pre-draw took place before Wednesday night’s action to establish whether they would feature at home or away.
Crystal Palace, Man United, Man City, Sunderland, Bournemouth, and Liverpool have been handed home ties, while Arsenal and Aston Villa will be made to travel.
Third-round matches are scheduled to take place across back-to-back weeks, on September 7 and 14.
