In clips shared to Victoria’s Instagram story on Monday, 31 August, the former footballer can be seen showing off an array of his home-grown produce, from tomatoes in the greenhouse to eggs hatched from chickens in their coop.

One particularly eye-catching vegetable that delighted the couple was an unusually shaped squash.

“What is that David?” asked Victoria. “It is a pumpkin,” answered David.

“I have never seen a pumpkin that shape. I don't even know what to say, wow,” an amused Victoria replied, before the couple clarified that it was an in fact a squash.

In another clip, Victoria films David harvesting a spring onion, though its size appears to disappoint Victoria. “Bit of an anticlimax maybe?,” she teased.

David replied: “You call that an anticlimax” as Victoria joked: “Well it isn't as big as the others.”

Other footage shows David attempting to enter the chicken coop from a small door, picking plums off a tree and trying to uproot a difficult carrot from the ground.

“Use two hands,” encouraged Victoria as David struggled to harvest the carrot.

“Oh my god the suspense, the suspense is killing me,” she laughed before her husband successfully managed to wrestle the vegetable free from the ground.

The couple could be seen proudly watching Cruz from the side of the stage as the band made their festival debut on Saturday (August 30).

Cruz’ siblings Harper and Romeo could also be seen enjoying the performance from the crowd in a tented area.

The Beckhams bought their Cotswolds home in December 2016, and have since transformed the grounds into a fertile garden brimming with vegetable patches, chickens coops and a bee yard.
