Everton vs Manchester United LIVE
The David Moyes derby sees the Toffees welcome Man Utd to the Hill Dickinson Stadium this afternoon, as the hosts put their unbeaten start to the Premier League season on the line against Michael Carrick’s visitors. Bruno Fernandes scored a hat-trick last time out, as Ipswich were beaten 5-2, which lifted Man Utd into the top half of the table.
The United victory took their points tally under Michael Carrick to 42 - more than any other side during the same period. Carrick can now become only the sixth manager to win 45 points from his first 20 Premier League games during a single spell at a club. And Moyes, who oversaw a miserable spell at Old Trafford, will no doubt be keen to deny the former midfielder.
Moyes has overseen an encouraging start at Everton, with an opening win over Crystal Palace and the draw at Bournemouth. The Scot has lost 23 Premier League games against United, second only to Harry Redknapp's 24. Everton won 1-0 at Old Trafford last season but United triumphed by the same scoreline on their first visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
