The suspected terrorist who shot dead his family before killing six people in Krakow, Poland, is a 25-year-old military cadet with ‘far-right ideologies’.
The alleged shooter reportedly drove 80 miles from the city where he lived and was dressed in military-style gear when he opened fire in a crowded market, killing four women and two men – including one British citizen.
The attack, which left 15 wounded, unfolded at about 3pm local time on Saturday, when an assailant fired shots at a tram, pedestrians and two horses from a black Subaru.
The suspect was shot and neutralised at close range by a police officer before he was taken to hospital in serious condition.
