A family have paid tribute to a "gentle" woman who was found dead at a residential property on Saturday.

Eleanor O'Dell, 33, was found after officers were called to an address on St Seiriol's Road in Llandudno, Conwy, shortly after 20:00 GMT on 31 October, following reports of a disturbance.

The family described her as "gentle by nature and a ray of sunshine to all", adding their "worlds have been crushed by the loss of our beautiful girl".

"She has been taken from us and our hearts are truly broken," they said.

Christopher Thomas Ellis, 36, of no fixed address, has been charged with her murder and remains in custody.

"We appreciate all the love she has received, and we are thankful for all the words of support," her family said, in a statement.

Senior investigating officer, Det Insp Rob Mahoney, said: "Our condolences remain with Eleanor's friends and loved ones following her tragic death."

Police inquiries are continuing, and Mahoney urged anyone who may have been out trick-or-treating with children, or celebrating Halloween, in the area between 19:00 and 20:30 GMT to contact them.

"You may have seen or heard something, or have dashcam or mobile phone footage that could assist our inquiries," he said.
