Fire crews spend night at grass fire near Moray campsite

Firefighters have spent the night at the scene of a grass fire near the Moray village of Hopeman.

Six appliances and a wildfire unit were sent to the scene at around 16:30 on Tuesday.

Four appliances remained there at first light.

Footage shared by Fubar News showed flames and dense smoke next to a campsite, containing campervans and caravans.

Lossiemouth Community Council said there were believed to have been some power cuts as a result of the fire.
