Glastonbury 2027: Coach tickets oversold 'due to an admin error'
Glastonbury 2027 coach tickets have been oversold due to an “administrative error” according to organisers.
The UK’s biggest music festival returns next year from June 23 to 27, after taking a fallow year in 2026 for the ground to recover.
Coach tickets for next year’s edition went on sale on Thursday, October 1, and sold out in just 30 minutes. General admission tickets went on sale three days later and sold out entirely in 45 minutes.

However, it has now been confirmed by the festival that more coach package tickets were sold for certain departures than there are seats available, according to an email See Tickets sent to customers.
There is no need to panic for coach ticket holders, as the festival has confirmed that they will not lose their coveted spot at Worthy Farm next year.
Instead, the bookings will be automatically converted to general admission tickets, with the cost of the coach tickets refunded.
Those affected will have until October 31 to opt to keep their coach tickets, and if not, their booking will be converted and refunds will be issued to the original payment card.
The BBC reports that Glastonbury Festival was not responsible for the error,
Coach ticket prices range from £26 to £185, depending on the departure town or city and whether it is a single or return journey.
See Tickets said that the error would not affect customers’ festival deposits, and that they would be able to pay the remaining balance for their tickets as standard in April.
The company added that is “looking forward to welcoming you to the festival in June”.
Some fans said the mixup would actually come as good news to some Glastonbury ticket holders, who were no longer bound by catching a specific coach to get to Worthy Farm.
If you purchased a coach ticket, you are required to board your designated coach for the initial journey to the festival. If you miss your coach, you risk being denied entry.
Your festival tickets are given to you on the coach.
The Standard has contacted Glastonbury and See Tickets for comment.
