How much are tickets to Glastonbury?

A full weekend pass running from Wednesday to Sunday will cost £408 - including a £5 booking fee.

It is a £29.50 increase on 2025’s £378.50 general admission ticket.

Previously, tickets for the first edition of the festival held back in 1970 cost just £1 (equivalent to £13.80 today).

They surpassed the £100 barrier back in 2003, in an edition that was headlined by R.E.M, Radiohead and Moby.

In 2022, a weekend ticket cost £280 plus a £5 booking fee; however, just five years later, this has surged to over £130.

What has Glastonbury said on the ticket buying process?

“We strongly advise that you use just one browser tab when trying to book tickets, in order to avoid possible problems with your transaction, and please do not refresh the page once you are in the queue.

“Rather than refreshing the holding page to attempt to access the booking page, this year, when the ticket sale begins (at 6pm or 9am respectively) everyone who is already on the glastonbury.seetickets.com page will randomly be assigned a place in a queue to access the booking process.

“Anyone who logs on once the sale has started will automatically be added to the back of the queue, so it’s important to make sure you are online ready at least 10 minutes before the sale opens.

“Once you are in the queue, a progress bar will indicate how close you are to reaching the booking page.

“Please do not refresh this page or use multiple devices or tabs as you will lose you place in the queue.”

On Thursday, as fans scrambled to get coach tickets, many were caught out by a change to the buying system.

Fans noticed that users could no longer log in on multiple devices, and registration codes produced just one queue number.

It appears that the change seems to be an attempt to tackle bots, however, many fans felt frustrated as it ruined their plans to use a “syndicate” system where friends use the same code to improve their chances.
