A man who reportedly massacred three generations of his family has been pictured for the first time.
Matthew Stone, 45, shot and killed his wife, Michelle, 44, their two sons, Jonathan, 19, and Matthew Jr., 21, and their pregnant daughter, Angelina Stone, 24, in Erie, Pennsylvania, on Friday, October 9.
Angelina’s young children, Isaiah, five, and Amari’anna, who was almost two, were killed, too. The soon-to-be mother of three was reportedly four days away from giving birth to her third child, a son whom she had planned to name Kyrie, according to CBS News.
Stone also murdered Michelle’s sister, Lora Roberts, 37, and family friend Twila Tanner, 51, while the pair were reportedly trying to protect the children.
Following the unprecedented shooting, Matthew then turned the gun on himself, taking his own life, the coroner’s office confirmed.
All the deaths, apart from the shooter’s, have been ruled a homicide. However, police have not announced a motive for the shooting, and investigations are continuing.

As per People, the shooting took place at a property in Erie around 5 pm local time.
Erie Police Chief Rick Lorah confirmed that seven of the eight shooting victims were related to the gunman, while the eighth was a family friend.
Lorah said in a press conference: ‘Video evidence reviewed by investigators shows those two women arriving at the residence,’ referring to Roberts and Tanner, ‘hearing distress, seeking assistance from neighbours and pounding on the door.’
He continued: ‘The audio video also appears to capture muffled gunfire from inside the residence before the suspect emerged and fatally shot both women.’
A press release from the City of Erie reveals that police reached the scene within minutes, which Lorah described as ‘tragic.’

The Daily Mail reported that a drone and robot also captured the crime scene, where the nine bodies were found. The outlet received that the bodies of the five-year-old boy and one-year-old girl were found on the first floor, two women and two young men were found in a stairwell, while the shooter was on the second floor.
Lorah said: ‘Some scenes stay with you long after you leave them. This is one of those tragic scenes.’
Following the tragic event, family friend Lisa Simmers, spoke to CBS News. Speaking about Angelina, she said: ‘Her two babies were on the spectrum. Innocent children, couldn’t have told on that man if they wanted to, and he still killed them.
‘It’s mind-blowing to me to understand what was happening in that house while we were standing outside. The feeling of helplessness and knowing we couldn’t do anything and she was right there.’

Simmers added to local news station Erie News Now: ‘She [Angelina] was pregnant, about to have her baby in a couple of days. She had a daughter that was almost two, and her son Isiah, who I believe was like four or five, and they were all just beautiful. Beautiful children. And definitely did not deserve what happened to them.’
Amari’anna’s father, Juicesiyah Alexander Ezekiel, who also goes by Julius Windham, also spoke to Erie News Now. He said that he wouldn’t wish his situation on his ‘worst enemy.’
‘It’s sickening,’ the grieving father said.
Ezekiel held a vigil on Saturday outside of the home where his daughter and the other victims were killed. He admitted that Stone showed no signs of distress before the shootings or that he was capable of the unspeakable actions he would go on to commit.
‘I think that was a front for him. Him every day, him smiling… you would think of nothing like that would happen.’

And when talking about his daughter, Ezekiel said: ‘It was my baby, bro, and he just took her. Her name was Amari’anna. She was the most beautiful baby God could have created.’
Ezekiel’s sister, Aaliyah Williams, has since set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for Angelina and her children. On behalf of her brother, Williams has stated that any money donated would go towards funeral support for Angelina, Isiah, Amari’anna, and unborn Kyrie ‘after an unthinkable tragedy.’
The fundraising page, which at the time of writing has raised $41,817 of a $45,000 goal, reads: ‘Angelina’s father killed Angelina and her children in a murder-suicide, and now our family is facing the painful task of laying them to rest.

‘We have no finances ready to cover this loss, and we have only two weeks from today to get everything done. The funds from this fundraiser will go toward funeral expenses and the fees related to their final arrangements so they can be sent off correctly.’
Williams continued, adding that ‘this is more than our family can carry alone right now, and we truly need the community to rally around us.’
The description notes that any donation, ‘no matter the amount,’ will ‘help ease the financial burden and help us give Angelina, Isiah, Amari’anna, and Kyrie the farewell they deserve.’
The City of Erie has also since said in a statement: ‘Our hearts remain with the victims, their loved ones, and all those affected by this devastating loss of life.’
