The final Premier League fixture of the weekend comes in London tonight, as Tottenham face Coventry.

While Tottenham go into the game sitting bottom of the table having failed to win any of their opening six games, results have gone their way so far and they will climb out of the relegation zone with victory over the promoted side.

Recent performances have provided cause for optimism in the Spurs camp and Roberto De Zerbi will hope the mid-season training camp in Spain can provide a much-needed lift.

Confirmation of Dejan Kulusevski’s imminent return to first-team action should also have the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium bouncing before kick-off.

The Swede has not played a competitive minute for Spurs since May 2025 but will be in the matchday squad tonight and his hopes of an appearance off the bench will largely depend on the game state.

Coventry, meanwhile, arrive in North London full of confidence having registered back-to-back wins over Nottingham Forest and Newcastle either side of the international break to kick-start their survival bid.

Furthermore, in head coach Frank Lampard - formerly of Chelsea and West Ham - the visitors have someone who knows a thing or two about winning away at Tottenham.

This will be the first league meeting between the two sides since March 2001 when Les Ferdinand was on target in a 3-0 win for Spurs at White Hart Lane.
