A massive fire has broken out in southeast London and filled the sky with black smoke.
The blaze has erupted at a waste facility in Deptford, involving around 50 tonnes of household waste stored there.
The alarm was first raised at 7.59pm, with fifteen fire engines around 100 firefighters dispatched to the scene.
Local residents have been told to keep doors and windows closed as thick smoke billows out of the area.

The plumes have been spotted across London, as far as Bethnal Green and Thamesmead.
Passers-by in Canary Wharf, London Bridge and New Cross also posted videos and pictures of the blaze online.
The fire, near a railway, has disrupted Southeastern train services, the company said on X.
Crews from East Greenwich, Old Kent Road, Deptford and surrounding fire stations have been sent to the scene.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
