Gap x Victoria Beckham has dropped 37 pieces to complete your winter wardrobe. Building on the success of their first run, the two fashion powerhouses have reunited for round two.

Ahead of its launch, I tried on the collection – spoiler: it doesn’t disappoint. Synonymous with sleek tailoring and luxury minimalism, Victoria Beckham showcases at Paris Fashion Week each season with the likes of Anna Wintour and Kim Kardashian in the front row.

While her designs usually stretch into the thousands, Gap is bringing Victoria Beckham pieces into your wardrobe for less. VB’s signature polish has been sprinkled across Gap’s recognisable everyday staples.

The spring collection sold out almost immediately, and the second chapter is just as effortlessly elevated yet wearable day to day.

The capsule’s outerwear boasts tailored detailing

From on-trend stirrup leggings and cinched-in outerwear to double-denim looks, form-fitting dresses and cargo-style trousers, the capsule is infused with Victoria’s covetable style: it’s the kind of clothing you could imagine her wearing in her off-duty moments (however rare they might be).

A ready-made capsule wardrobe: button-up turtlenecks in three colourways pair with utilitarian-style khaki trousers; zip-up knits go with high-waisted, sculpting jeans; and tuxedo-inspired shirts can be styled with form-fitting leggings. Gap’s recognisable hoodies, T-shirts and joggers have all been given the VB treatment too.

Some of my favourite Gap x Victoria Beckham looks

Among the most affordable pieces, the £25 boxy white tee, the £30 baseball cap and apparel-style weekender bag are about to be spotted everywhere. Here’s everything I’d recommend shopping from Gap x Victoria Beckham.

Gap x Victoria Beckham khaki trousers

The collection's colour palette is said to be inspired by the art world, including the Doris and Donald Fisher Collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Think charcoal, warm browns, rich reds, and neutrals that evoke autumn and winter, just like the deep green of these utilitarian style trousers. I wasn’t expecting much from these cargos, but the fit is perfect: cinching you in at the waist thanks to belt detailing, before fanning out into a subtle barrel-leg.

Gap x Victoria Beckham white T-shirt

VB knows how to craft the perfect white tee, both in her own eponymous label and for Gap. The spring style sold out at record speed, and the new white T-shirt is sure to do the same. The boxy fit is teamed with a crisp cotton composition and slightly cropped cut. The Gap x Victoria Beckham logo details the back. Best of all, you can’t see the outline of a bra beneath owing to the relaxed silhouette.

Gap x Victoria Beckham brown funnel neck coat

Gap x Victoria Beckham coat

A winter coat that will serve you all season long, this outerwear piece will ward off the chill in the city and look stylish at Après ski on the slopes. Characterised by its chic funnel-neck and cinched-in waist, the coat boasts a zip fastening and front placket for extra insulation. It's padded and warming, yet flattering and lightweight to wear. Available in chocolate brown and khaki, the coat’s a surprisingly practical addition to your wardrobe.

Gap x Victoria Beckham merino wool grey knit

There’s plenty of hero knitwear in the collection, from zip-up funnel neck sweaters to statement layered jumpers. A winter staple that delivers on warmth and comfort, this merino wool turtleneck style is my top pick. With its lightweight, form-fitting design, it’s perfect for layering – and comes in three neutral colourways, from black and grey to yellow and burgundy.

Gap x Victoria Beckham dark denim jeans

Naturally, denim features throughout the collection, from straight cuts to baggy silhouettes. Sitting somewhere in the middle, these jeans boast a subtle barrel leg with a hidden drawstring waist that you can wear dangling down. The low-rise cut is flattering, and the quality is as good as you’d expect from Gap. These aren’t jeans for tall girls, though – you want the hems puddling on the floor, not swinging around your ankle.

Gap x Victoria Beckham tuxedo shirt

Every wardrobe needs a hero white shirt. Gap x Victoria Beckham have gone one step further with their tuxedo-inspired style. Boasting a short stand-up collar, wide cuffs for rolling up and a fabric panel at the front, it’s ideal for layering under knitted vests and sweaters. I’ll be wearing the shirt over the capsule’s stirrup leggings as an alternative to party season dresses.

Gap x Victoria Beckham wool overcoat

This wool winter coat oozes elegance and sophistication, à la VB herself. Crafted from a weighty wool blend, the maxi coat is cut into a sharp double-breasted silhouette with dramatic lapels and military-style buttons. Available in mauve or charcoal, it’s the kind of coat you can throw on any outfit and look put together.

Gap x Victoria Beckham denim latch jacket

Embracing the Canadian tuxedo, this outerwear piece complements both the barrel leg and slim leg dark wash jeans in the capsule. Elevating it beyond your everyday denim jacket, it features an on-trend latch collar and exaggerated shoulders for a boxy fit. I love its customisable design, and the indigo finish makes it feel smart enough for the office.

Gap x Victoria Beckham stirrup leggings

Claudia Winkleman-style leggings have slowly been entering the fashion consciousness. I was a naysayer, but these split-hem, skin-tight trousers from Gap x Victoria Beckham might just have won me over. Not only are they comfortable, but they perfectly contrast a loser top or shirt. You could also style them with knee-high boots and a Barbour coat for countryside-chic.
