Katie Price says she 'looks like a hamster' as she hits NTA red carpet hours after cosmetic work

Katie Price compared herself to a hamster after undergoing cosmetic surgery just hours before attending the National Television Awards.
On Tuesday, 8 September, the 48-year-old turned heads as she stepped out on the red carpet with her children Princess and Junior.
Taking to Instagram, she explained that her face looked swollen as just 24 hours prior, she had been in Brussels to fix a sizing issue with one of her breast implants.
“So, they put a new implant in, and while they were there, I said, ‘Oh, go on, just put a bit more in both of them.’
“At the same time, where my face was hollow here, as you get older and lose weight, he puts filler in for me, obviously while I’m asleep, and he does it under the muscle, right into the bone.”
However, she said she woke up to discover that the filler had caused her face to swell. “I look like a hamster and it’s sore.”
Price also revealed that she and her glam squad hours before the NTAs after they had a falling out over her styling.

She told her followers that she wanted “different” with her look, however her team did not agree.
“They’ve passed on doing my glam for the NTAs, because I wouldn’t wear the outfits they wanted me to.”
In an exclusive interview with The Standard, Junior Andre opened up on the public perception of his mother Price, stating that he is hoping to show a “real side” to her and his family.
Price, 48, recently appeared in the third series of her daughter’s reality TV show, The Princess Diaries, where she featured in every episode.

She had previously never appeared in the ITV show, claiming that she was “not allowed” on.
Speaking about the show and his family’s appearance on it, Junior told The Standard at the National Television Awards: “I think it was more good for the public than it was for us.”
He explained: “Because we know what, you know, we see our parents all the time and we chill with them all the time.
“I think it was a good thing for the public to see because you know, we haven't had both our parents in a show before and now we do.”
