Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest LIVE
Liverpool welcome Oliver Glasner’s Forest to Anfield this afternoon in their first home game of the Premier League season. Some eyebrows will have been raised as the Reds scrapped a point away at Newcastle last weekend, thanks to Dominik Szoboszlai’s 98th-minute penalty, and Andoni Iraola will be hoping for a less stressful day at the office this afternoon.
The new manager is unlikely to make too many changes to his team, though summer signing Victor Munoz could come in for Rio Ngumoha as reward for winning the equalising spot kick. Forest also have injury concerns, with Neco Williams a doubt after picking up a knock against Leeds on Tuesday but Morgan Gibbs-White has been passed fit after a knee problem.
Liam Delap could make his debut following his £45million move from Chelsea, while Liverpool will be looking for more from their frontman Alexander Isak, who struggled last Sunday in a very heated atmosphere at his former club. Andoni Iraola on his Anfield debut
"It is going to be emotional. It is a special place. I had to fight a lot to arrive to this place and I hope everything goes well and I can enjoy the game.
"Everything is going to be magnified, for the good and the bad.
"I think I am starting to understand everything that happens. It is a matter of myself and my coaching staff, the players, how we can maximise the potential."
It’s a bit wet at Anfield.

Nottingham Forest not done in transfer market
Oliver Glasner expects more signings at Nottingham Forest following the arrival of striker Liam Delap.
Glasner would not comment on a reported £22million Forest offer for his former Crystal Palace wing-back Daniel Munoz, and today the club have been linked with a £40m deal for Everton midfielder Harrison Armstrong.
“I think we will add two players,” Glasner said.
“One we have added, that means we will have at least one more signing. Close deals, quite close to be done, but now from today our focus is on the Liverpool match.
“That is the most important thing in the next 30 hours and then we have three more days to get the deals over the line.”
Liverpool closing in on Bradley Barcola signing
As the current squad prepares for today's game, off the pitch Liverpool are finalising a £123million deal for Bradley Barcola.
The France star is set to arrive on Merseyside this weekend before signing a five-year contract.
Andoni Iraola said this week: "I hope we can have good news soon but we are still not there.
"I don’t know what is going to happen, we have to be patient – even myself – for another four or five days and then we will know. I will be comfortable on September 2 when they tell me ‘This is who we are, these are the options we have’ and then we can start thinking about players in the positions.
“I have in my head what I want, we have been talking since the beginning and they know also what we want, and then it is a matter of closing the deals ... if there is an opportunity on the last day, let’s take it.
“Ideally is the magic word. I am sure if we can improve other areas we will but I don’t know how the market is going to finish.”
