A casualty on the tracks at an east London Tube station has led to severe disruption on the London Underground.
Local MP Stella Creasy confirmed the incident on the tracks at Walthamstow Central station this morning, that caused the closure of the entire Victoria line.
It reopened with severe delays that were then downgraded to minor delays mid-afternoon.
The British Transport Police confirmed the incident was not being treated as suspicious and a person had been taken to hospital with “potentially life-threatening injuries”.
Elsewhere trains between central London and Heathrow are disrupted on Monday after a trackside fire sparked travel chaos over the weekend.
The fire at Scrubs Lane in Kensal Green caused an electricity supply failure which blocked all lines between Paddington and Heathrow, National Rail said on Saturday afternoon.
Elizabeth line trains will not serve Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 while the Heathrow Express services is running a reduced schedule.

Severe delays continue on the Elizabeth line
Severe delays continue on the Elizabeth line this afternoon between Heathrow Terminals 2&3 and Heathrow Terminal 5.
Engineers are working to fix equipment damaged by vandalism in the Kensal Green area.
Passengers travelling to the airport are advised to use the Piccadilly line to travel to Heathrow Airport and use the free interchange service to travel between terminals.
Elsewhere, there are minor delays between Hayes & Harlington and Reading due to an earlier a vehicle hitting a bridge earlier at Burnham and minor delays between Shenfield and Whitechapel due to an earlier signal system failure at Ilford.
Minor delays on the Metropolitan line
The issue on the Metropolitan line has been cleared, with only minor delays now.
It comes after an earlier signal failure at Amerhsam.
The next southbound train from Amersham will depart at 15:52.
There are also minor delays between Moor Park and Watford while engineers fix a signal failure at Watford.

Delays on the Victoria line have been downgraded to minor following a casualty on the tracks earlier this morning.
Casualty rushed to hospital
The person involved in this morning’s incident has been rushed to hospital.
In a statement, the London Ambulance Service confirmed it was called to Walthamstow Central Station to reports of a person on the tracks at around 9:15am.
“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, a paramedic in a fast response car and paramedics from our hazardous area response team (HART). We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a person at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre by road as a priority,” the statement added.
Metropolitan line part suspended
The Metropolitan line is part suspended between Amersham and Chalfont & Latimer. This is due to a signal failure at Amersham.
Check before you travel, warns Walthamstow Forest Council
Walthamstow Forest Council is advising Londoners to check before travelling following disruption on the Victoria line on Monday.
As it stands, there are still severe delays on the entire Victoria line following an earlier casualty on the tracks. A person has been rushed to hospital and is believed to be facing “life-changing injuries.”
Bakerloo line part-suspended
The Bakerloo line has been part-suspended between Harrow & Wealdstone and Queen's Park stations due to a faulty train.
Transport for London says there is a good service on the rest of the line.

Transport for London referring to the casualty as a “earlier customer incident”, said tickets are being accepted on alternate routes.
It said tickets are being accepted on London buses, the Weaver line and the Suffragette line.
