A man has been charged after a man and a woman were killed when a car hit three cyclists.
Aaron Turner, 22, has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and drug possession after the crash near Gravesend, Kent Police said.
Emergency services were called to the scene, near Cobham in Kent, on Sunday after a white Ford Focus allegedly ploughed into the group of bike riders shortly before 8am while heading towards Meopham.
A man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s both died at the scene, the force confirmed on Sunday evening. Another cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment on 'minor' injuries.
A 21-year-old man and 19-year old-woman were released on bail while enquiries continue after being arrested last week.
Turner has been remanded into custody to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, September 9.
A statement released by Kent Police on Sunday said: 'Officers investigating a double fatal collision in Cobham near Gravesend have charged a man.

'At 7.47am on Sunday 6 September 2026, a white Ford Focus was travelling in a south westerly direction along Sole Street towards Meopham, when it was involved in a collision with three cyclists.
'Emergency services attended the scene near the junction with Round Street where two of the riders, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s, were confirmed to be deceased.
'Their next of kin have been informed. The third cyclist was taken to a local hospital for treatment to injuries described as minor.
'Two men and a woman were subsequently arrested.'
