Man charged after woman taken to hospital following dog attack

A man has been arrested following a dog attack in Aberdeen.

Police Scotland were called to reports of a woman and a dog being bitten by another dog in Donald Dewar Court at about 15:25.

A force spokesperson said the woman was taken to hospital for treatment and the dog was taken to the vet.

The man has been charged in connection with the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.

The spokesperson said the dog was seized and inquiries were ongoing.
