A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder following the stabbing of a man in Birmingham.
Joseph Cargill has been charged with the murder of Stephen Clarke, aged 32, who was stabbed in Chester Road, Sutton Coldfield, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Cargill was remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Birmingham on Monday.
West Midlands Police said their investigation was ongoing and they were keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
The force had previously said they were currently not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident and it was thought the suspect and victim were known to each other.
Mr Clarke's family have requested their privacy be respected at this time, police concluded.
