Manchester United vs Tottenham LIVE: Premier League latest score, match stream, goal updates and fan reaction
Man Utd vs Tottenham LIVE
Manchester United and Tottenham clash this evening as the Premier League returns to action after a three-week hiatus. Players have been falling like flies with their respective injury concerns throughout the four-game international break, and both sides have suffered here in that respect.
United were left sweating over talisman and captain Bruno Fernandes, while Spurs were worried about Dutch defensive duo Jan Paul van Hecke and Micky van de Ven after their respective knocks with their country. Both teams will be looking for marked improvements to their starts to the new campaign, as Roberto De Zerbi’s men sit bottom of the league table after five games.
Michael Carrick’s hosts are in 12th position after a stuttering opening run that has seen them lose to newly-promoted Hull City, be held by Everton, lose the Manchester derby, and be knocked out prematurely in the Carabao Cup. Keep up to date with all the latest from Old Trafford with our live blog below, with insight and analysis from Oli Gent and Sam Tabuteau.

Live updates
11 mins: De Zerbi will want to capitalise on this Spurs dominance. They are cutting through United’s midfield at will, outnumbering the home pivot with Gallagher dropping in to create the overload.
8 mins: A sharp start from Spurs. Kudus is looking bright down the right, and he looks for Solanke in the box. The striker is on his heels, and Maguire nods clear.
6 mins: Spurs have the second lowest conversion rate in the league and it shows. Solanke has to score there. That was the finish of a striker desperately lacking confidence.
4 mins: What a chance! Lammens makes an error as he plays it straight into Bergvall, who is into Mainoo quickly. It falls for Solanke, but the Belgian stops him!
3 mins: Free kick, Man Utd. A lovely touch from Mbeumo to get away from Van Hecke, but he’s chopped down cynically by Bergvall as Amad speeds clear on goal if his team-mate can find him. Cunha looks to take the free kick quickly, but is called back.
Five minute warning
The players are out, and we’re about to get underway.
De Zerbi on Van de Ven's benching
“He played four games in a row, 90 minutes,” De Zerbi said.
“Bentancur had a big trip, and we have a squad good enough to change when we need the other players, but Marcos Senesi is one of the first eleven players, no less than Micky or less than another centre-back."
