A new series of The Real Housewives of London is almost upon us, and with it comes plenty of sprawling homes, lavish dinner parties and of course, drama.

The latest instalment in the global reality TV juggernaut, which has been running for nearly two decades, focuses on some of London’s leading ladies as they navigate relationships, careers, and family in the capital.

This season will see the socialites enjoy Fashion Week front rows, charity galas, Lunar New Year celebrations and even a trip to Antigua.

From Bake Off stars to a woman dubbed “The Longest Legs in Belgravia”, here are the six women causing chaos in the Big Smoke ahead of the series two premiere.

The fashion designer is no stranger to the franchise, having previously starred on The Real Housewives of Jersey, and also making a cameo in The Real Housewives of Cheshire when friend Lystra Adams flew her to Malta for a girls’ trip.

The mother-of-three grew up in Jamaica, before moving to London in her 20s to study fashion.

She is married to Jeremy Peace, former chairman and owner of West Bromwich Albion, and together with their children, they split their time between five properties: Belgravia, Chelsea, two in Jersey and one in Staffordshire.

At the beginning of series two, Karen finds herself being sidelined when close friend Amanda Cronin rekindles a friendship with former rival Juliet Angus.

“Karen starts to wonder exactly where she stands — and asking the question out loud sets off one of the season’s biggest clashes. Sidelined but never silenced, Karen leans on Jeremy and the girls as old wounds from her past resurface… This season, Karen is done giving more than she gets back,” an official synopsis for the upcoming season reads.

Amanda Cronin, also known as “The Longest Legs in Belgravia”, is a model-turned skincare entrepreneur.

Her high-end brand, Amanda Caroline Skincare, price range starts at £130 and goes up to £300 for her viral Haute skincare range.

She lives in a three-storey house in Belgravia following her divorce from second husband, businessman Mark Daeche.

He is one of the co-founders of First Utility, an energy and broadband supplier based in the UK that was later sold to Shell in 2018, making Dache a multimillionaire.

Since the split, she is firmly back on the dating scene, with one of her relationships including a year-long romance with Andrew Ridgeley.

This season, whilst Amanda’s business is booming, some of her relationships are teetering on the edge.

“When her rekindled friendship with Juliet Angus leaves Karen feeling pushed out, Amanda finds herself juggling tensions on every front, and a treatment at her own clinic spirals into a saga that threatens the one thing she’s built her name on.”

Australian-born Juliet Mayhew first moved to England at 12 for boarding school and has never looked back.

During her time in the capital, she has tried her hand at many things: from acting to party planning to interior design.

Juliet, a former Miss Galaxy Newcomer winner, is married to hedge-fund manager Anthony “Tiggy” Mayhew, with whom she shares two children.

Focusing on her blooming singing career, Juliet is “finally finding the thing that fulfils her beyond motherhood,” Hayu teased.

“But just as she steps into the spotlight, fate has other plans, and the woman accused of performing all season is about to show everyone exactly who she really is.”

Iranian-born and London-raised, Panetha has become an established force within London’s social circuit.

The 50-year-old has been part of the Mayfair social scene since the 1990s, and is known for her exclusive high-society connections, including J-Lo.

She is married to lawyer Ed Brown, who leads firm Mayer Brown’s ’s Banking & Finance practise in London.

A full-time socialite, Parker has previously revealed that she has never had to get her hands dirty. “I got married to someone who was very wealthy, who bought me Chanel and flew me on Concorde back in the day.’

Looking ahead to season two, it seems Parker’s opinionated personality may land her in some fire as she comes the “season’s biggest source of tension”.

“Her friendship with Amanda is pushed to the brink, and Panthea decides that if anyone’s going to force this group to be honest, it’s her.”

The youngest of the group but dubbed “the most mature”, Nessie splits her time between her Chelsea and Cotswold homes.

A born-and-bread Londoner, Nessie began her career working at Schroders, an asset management company based in London, where she became the global head of equity.

After having three children with husband Remy, she followed her passions and retrained in patisserie.

The 43-year-old went on to found the Chelsea Cake Company, creating bespoke cakes for high-profile clients, including Claridge’s and The Ritz.

This isn’t her first time on television, having also competed in Bake Off: The Professionals in 2021.

Seen as the group’s emotional anchor, Nessie will “find her voice” this season amongst all the fighting.

“Between hosting Chinese New Year, stealing the show at the Drag Roast and facing down a new arrival who claims to know who she really is, Nessie is proving that the nicest woman in the room is nobody’s pushover.”

Juliet Angus, the group’s resident American, has previously starred on 2014’s Ladies of London with her friend Caroline Stanbury, who went on to feature in The Real Housewives of Dubai.

The Chicago-born fashion stylist, influencer, and entrepreneur moved to London over a decade ago to support her businessman husband Gregor, whose ventures include managing True Royalty TV - a streaming platform focusing entirely on the royal family.

She’s been a fashion publicist, Meghan Markle’s stylist, godmother to Lindsay Lohan’s children and a fixture on early-2000s LA reality shows.

After a feud with Amanda last season, the pair are on good terms. “But standing shoulder to shoulder with Amanda means inheriting her fallouts, and this season, the crossfire comes from every direction.”

The Real Housewives of London returns on Monday 7 September, available to stream on Hayu.
