This is the moment a masked robber rushes into a convenience store, brandishes an eight-inch blade and demands: 'Put all the money in the bag, now!'
The terrifying ordeal occurred just moments before Go Local Extra in the quaint village of Shiney Row, Tyne and Wear, was due to shut last Thursday night.
In CCTV footage shared with the Daily Mail, a robber donning a balaclava, Emporio Armani tracksuit and orange gardening gloves is seen bursting into the store before placing a bread container in front of the door, ensuring he couldn't be locked inside.
He then dashes to the till and begins waving his knife at cashier Abi, who only joined the shop a matter of months ago, while shouting: 'Put all the f*****g money in the bag. Quick, now, go on!'
Abi, however, refuses by continually telling the thief: 'I will give you it', while pretending to open the till in the hope that a customer - and thereby help - was on the way.
The brave worker then reaches for a button in a desperate bid to lock the knifeman inside, only for the electric door to jam on the bread box.
'Hurry up!,' the criminal cries. 'Be quick, give it to us then, just give us the paper quick. All the notes now, come on,' before once again pointing the knife at Abi.
Eventually - after more than a minute - the cashier surrenders and hands over £200 from the till before the robber exits swiftly with the cash in his palm.

Go Local Extra owner, 23-year-old Sin, was awoken on Thursday night to a panicked call from Abi detailing what had happened. The family-run store only opened in February, and this is the first time a staff member has been threatened.
He told the Mail: 'I was asleep because I had work the next day and I got a call at around 10.20pm. I was absolutely gob-smacked. I just didn't know how to react.
'I got up, checked my phone to see the CCTV footage and just couldn't believe what I had seen. We don't normally get things like that with knives and stuff. That was the first time.
'All he wanted was the money. He took about £200. Luckily enough, I was there earlier that night and before I left I emptied out the till so there wasn't as much there for him.
'If I hadn't done that, he could have taken hundreds and hundreds.'
Sin rushed to the store in the aftermath of the robbery to find Abi 'shocked and speechless'.
The owner added: 'He (Abi) wasn't expecting it. He was just about to close up and close the till and that's when the guy came in.
'As soon as he saw the knife he didn't know what to do. I don't blame him for giving over the money because he had a knife, you don't know what he's got planned.
'That's the best thing he could have done because the money, we can make that back. If his life goes then it's gone for good.'

Sin and Abi have been overwhelmed by support from their local community, which the owner says has rallied around the shop after the robbery was posted on Facebook.
Dozens of well-wishers visited the store over the weekend to check on Abi and the rest of the staff's welfare - and some even offered clues as to the identity of the robber.
'We get shoplifting and stuff but that's the first time we've ever had anything serious,' Sin said.
'You wouldn't expect it, not in this area. We've only been open since February, the site used to be a carpet store. The whole community is shocked.
'The amount of people that called us or came to the shop the next day to see if the staff were alright, to see if we're alright. It was great.
'Because you can hear the audio in the video, some people have given us clues as to who the masked man was. We just need to confirm with the police.'
A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: 'Shortly before 11pm on Thursday, we received a report of a robbery at a premises on Hindson Crescent in the Shiney Row area of Houghton-le-Spring.
'It was reported that a man had entered the shop before threatening a staff member with a bladed article.
'The staff member then handed over a quantity of cash before leaving the area prior to officer arrival. The victim was uninjured but left shaken by the incident.'
