Rivalling John Lewis for its starry cast, the advert features award-winning actor James Norton and 's Lucy Punch – plus a special appearance and recorded soundtrack from Katherine Jenkins OBE.
It’s the first time since 2017 that M&S has brought the best of food, fashion, home and beauty together in one campaign. James stars as an incognito Santa, alongside Lucy as a glamorous Mrs Claus.
As the voice of M&S Christmas, Katherine Jenkins brings the Home of Christmas campaign to life through music, reimagining the iconic Heaven Is a Place on Earth as the season's soundtrack.

The campaign shows Santa leaving the North Pole behind and heading out into the world to experience Christmas from a different perspective after a little encouragement from Mrs Claus. His Christmas adventure takes him through the moments that make the season special: getting dressed up, gathering around a table of brilliant food, choosing gifts people will genuinely love and transforming the home for Christmas.

The message is that M&S is there for every festive moment, from pyjamas – Lucy’s striped pair are just £35 (Marksandspencer.com) – to party food, sparkly dresses, gifting and turkey centrepieces for the table.
In fact, one in three Christmas turkeys sold in the UK come from M&S, while the retailer sells around three mince pies every second. With that in mind, here’s your ultimate M&S food guide to ensure your table is ready this Christmas.
How to order your M&S Christmas food in time
To make sure your Christmas spread features all your M&S favourites, it’s best to book as early as possible to secure your preferred collection slot at your local store. Once you’ve paid a £50 deposit, you can browse the selection and build your perfect Christmas feast. Then, all that’s left to do is sit back and wait for collection day.
Between 22 and 24 December, simply head to your chosen store to collect your order and pay the remaining balance – leaving you with one less thing to worry about during the festive rush.
Here's what could be gracing your table this Christmas…
