Detectives working on a murder investigation have appealed for dashcam footage, saying it is "vital" the public contact them even if there appears to be "nothing important on the recording".

Graham Pennycook, 64, was found dead in woodland next to Perham Down polo field, Wiltshire.

His death was treated as suspicious after a post mortem examination and a murder investigation is ongoing.

Wiltshire Police say they want to hear from anyone driving in the Ludgershall area between 09:00 BST and 18:00 BST on 24 September with dashcam footage or who might have seen something.

The force is especially interested in anyone who may have been driving along Somme Road, the unnamed road bordering the polo field, Shoddesden Lane and the A3026 (the main road running through Ludgershall).

Det Ch Insp Phil Walker said: "If you were driving in the area on Thursday 24 September and have dash camera footage, it's vital that you contact us.

"Even if you think there is nothing important on your recording, we need to hear from you. Your camera recording may hold vital information to assist us in this murder investigation."

Police have created a dedicated webpage for the investigation, which has been named Operation Primrose.

People can upload information there, or contact police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
