Transport for London continue to say the Jubilee line will be part suspended between Wembley Park and Willesden Green until at least the early afternoon with severe delays expected on the rest of the line.

The Metropolitan line will also remain part suspended until Saturday afternoon between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Aldgate with severe delays on the rest of the line.

Major disruption is expected until approximately 1pm, it said.

Major disruption to London Marylebone trains will continue until at least 1pm on Saturday. All lines towards Aylesbury via Amersham are disrupted.

Chiltern Railways are currently running an hourly service from London Marylebone to Aylesbury (via High Wycombe) avoiding the fire. They are also running an hourly shuttle between Aylesbury and Amersham.

We are briefly resuming our coverage of the Neasden fire on Saturday morning to give you an update on the fire and public transport, which is still facing major disruption on Saturday.

An investigation has now been launched into the fire, which was brought under control by the London Fire Brigade by 5.10pm.

LFB assistant commissioner Andy Pennick has called the fire “a protracted incident that will see crews on scene for the remainder of the day as the work to fully extinguish the fire.”

There is still major disruption to Tube and train services.

The Jubilee and Metropolitan lines are still both partially closed with severe delays on the rest of the line.

Rail from London Marylebone station will face delays and cancellations until the end of the evening.

National Rail has given a further update on disruption to train services.

It says all lines towards Aylesbury via Amersham are disrupted from Marylebone station.

It said: “Following an earlier evacuation of London Marylebone station services have now recovered and Chiltern Railways expect to run a near normal service from now and into the evening, with the exception of services than run via Amersham (along the Metropolitan Line).

“Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

“Major disruption on the route via Amersham is expected until the end of the day.”

This footage shows scenes at Marylebone earlier on the day.

This dramatic footage shows motorists in London driving as the smoke dominates the skyline ahead of them.

The LFB warned this afternoon that the fire was continuing to produce a significant amount of smoke and traffic in the surrounding area would be heavily impacted.

However services on the line are subject to severe delays.

There is still no service between Wembley Park and Willesden Green on the Jubilee line due to the fire.

Drone footage shows fire crews tackling the blaze as big plumes of smoke rise into the air.

As commuters head home on Friday, the TfL network is still subject to disruption following today’s fire in Neasden.

The entire Metropolitan line is still suspended, while the Jubilee line is part suspended between Willesden Green and Wembley Park.

The rest of the line is operating with severe delays.

Disruption on Chiltern Railways routes between Aylesbury and Marylebone is expected until 7pm. As it stands, there are delays of up to 50 minutes.
