North Wales Crusaders have secured a place in the Rugby Football League (RFL) Championship for 2027 despite initially withdrawing their bid for a licence.
Crusaders withdrew from the process of bidding for a licence earlier this month after the RFL requested £150,000 in an escrow account to prove financial funding was in place.
However, in a statement, the RFL says Crusaders owner Jamie Elkaleh "has revised his business plan and now satisfies all the governing bodies' enquiries".
"This is great news for North Wales Crusaders and us, as a sport, as we look forward to the new season," said RFL chief executive Ian Nolan.
"I'd like to thank Jamie for all his hard work in getting to this endgame."
Wales' only professional rugby league side had been on the brink of collapse earlier this year when the owners announced they would no longer provide funding, only months after they had won the League One title.
A group of supporters and volunteers rallied and a new company, NW Rugby League 26 Ltd, was formed and granted an interim licence by the RFL.
Any future licence was subject to a comprehensive business plan being approved by the RFL.
The newly agreed plan specifies that all home games will be played at Colwyn Bay, with monthly financial reports submitted to the RFL.
