Ofcom data has revealed that GB News is more trusted by its viewers than the BBC.
New figures show 74 per cent of GB News viewers find the station trustworthy, compared with 71 per cent for Sky and just 66 per cent who trust the Beeb.
The fledgling channel was also ranked joint top for impartiality among its viewers (on 63 per cent with Sky), beating the corporation by 10 per cent.
It comes just months after a feud between GB News and Ofcom – over a show hosted by Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg – went all the way to the High Court.
A spokesman for the station said: 'These figures prove why GB News is Britain's undisputed number one news channel.
'Our viewers and listeners trust us to provide them with news, and our bold and fearless journalism is connecting with communities everywhere.'
More of its viewers thought GB News (72 per cent) presented a wide range of views than for any other channel, according to Ofcom's survey, adding further fuel to the station's ongoing feud with the media regulator over its impartiality.
GB News was handed a £100,000 fine in 2024 for breaching impartiality rules in a programme featuring Rishi Sunak.

It followed an appearance by Mr Sunak on a broadcast called People's Forum: The Prime Minister, where he was asked questions by a studio audience.
An earlier investigation by Ofcom found that 'an appropriately wide range of significant viewpoints was not presented and given due weight'.
The regulator also ruled that GB News had breached the broadcasting code during a programme fronted by Sir Jacob.
But they secured a major victory after the High Court overturned the decision last year.
GB News bosses will likely view the latest survey as evidence for their claim that the station deserves to be ranked as a 'trusted' news source.
The Government is weighing up new measures mandating social media apps to prioritise content from 'trusted' news providers.
This prompted immediate fears that the Government would have increased control over where people get their news.
It ranked public service broadcasters – the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 – as 'among the most trusted news sources' in a June White Paper, omitting GB News.
Bosses from the station have written to ministers arguing it should have the chance to apply for public funding instead of taxpayer money heading straight into the coffers of the BBC.
GB News is the most-watched non-public service broadcaster this year, with just under 90,000 average daily viewers, according to official ratings agency Barb.
The channel has also been in hot water over claims it has offered a platform for conspiracy theories, while one guest compared the Pride campaign with paedophilia and bestiality.
