The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) are currently at the scene of a "stabbing incident" in south Belfast.

There is a large police presence in the Fitzroy Avenue area, appearing to show specialist officers at the scene.

There is also an ambulance nearby and a section of road appears to have been taped off.

One person has been arrested, police said.

BBC News NI has contacted the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service for comment.
