Plumber pleads guilty to string of sexual assaults

Nottingham Crown Court

A plumber has admitted carrying out a string of sexual assaults against five women.

Nigel Rowley, 65 and from Wordsworth Road in Daybrook, Nottinghamshire, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of sexual assault during a hearing at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday.

He is set to be sentenced at the same court on 4 December.

Judge Michael Auty KC said the offences "are serious matters committed in the course of your work", and said there was "very much a risk" he could be handed a prison sentence.
