Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to following reports of an assault at a railway station in northwest London.

The incident happened at Cricklewood railway station in the early afternoon of July 28, when a man was allegedly approached on the platform by another man who was repeatedly swearing.

Both men later boarded a train towards Sutton, where the alleged verbal abuse continued.

The man then reportedly pushed the victim, scratched his arm and spat at him.

A fellow passenger who attempted to intervene was also spat at.

Police have now released an image of a man they believe may have information that could assist their investigation.
