Police are continuing to investigate the sudden death of a 45-year-old woman at a property in Angus.

Officers received a report of concern for a woman at Dronley Terrace in Muirhead at about 22:15 on Friday.

Her body was discovered by the emergency services and her death is being treated as unexplained.

Police Scotland said the woman's next of kin have been informed and inquiries were continuing.
