Police are treating a petrol bomb attack on a house in north Belfast as arson with intent to endanger life.

There were two people inside the York Park property at the time of the attack.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said the incident occurred at 19:55 GMT on Sunday and the living room was set alight.

The blaze was extinguished by the NI Fire and Rescue Service.

Police are appealing for information.
