US actress Rachel Zegler will return to the West End next year for a Live In London concert residency, which has been described as “unlike anything she’s done before”.

The 25-year-old will perform at the Soho Place theatre in London from January 5 to January 17 in “her most intimate shows to date”, which will showcase her “sublime vocals and extraordinary stage presence”.

The concert residency has been produced by Lambert Jackson with musical supervision and arrangements by Adam Hoskins and follows her wildly successful West End debut last year.

Zegler starred in Jamie Lloyd’s revival of Sir Tim Rice and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical Evita as the former first lady of Argentina – a role which won the actress her first Olivier award.

She made headlines for her performance which included a rendition of the musical’s most famous number, Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, from the London Palladium theatre balcony to passers-by.

Zegler returned to the venue in October for her debut solo concert, which comprised renditions of popular musical theatre songs and personal favourites.

The star also appeared on the West End stage earlier this year Cathy Hiatt in Jason Robert Brown’s musical The Last Five Years, opposite US actor Ben Platt.

Further details are yet to be revealed about her first London residency, which has been described as an “unforgettable experience” thanks to the intimacy of the venue, as the audience sits no further than six rows from the stage.

Tickets will go on sale at 12pm on September 30, with a presale taking place hours before.

Zegler made her name as Maria in the 2021 remake of West Side Story, before taking on the role as Snow White in the Disney live action remake of its popular 1930s animated film.

The singer and actress faced backlash on social media for being cast as a character described as having a complexion “as white as snow” as she has a Colombian background.

Zegler also starred in the prequel film for the popular Hunger Games franchise, titled The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes, as well as Shazam! Fury Of The Gods and Y2K.

The star has carved a successful stage career and made her Broadway debut in 2024 opposite Heartstopper star Kit Connor starring in Sam Gold’s production of Romeo And Juliet.

Zegler will return to the stage in New York City in February 2027 as Evita transfers to Broadway, reprising her role as Eva Peron in Peron’s quest to become an influential, powerful political figure.
