Tottenham will remain without Lucas Bergvall, Savio and Mykhailo Mudryk against Leeds, though Tosin Adarabioyo and Rodrigo Bentancur are both back.

Bergvall has not played for Spurs since injuring his knee in the dramatic 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford on October 10 - the same match in which fellow midfielder Bentancur was sent off late for a headbutt on Luke Shaw.

While Bentancur has now served his three-match suspension for violent conduct, the wait for Bergvall’s return to action will extend beyond the upcoming two-week November international break.

The same goes for Brazilian winger Savio, who picked up an unspecified muscular injury in that match against Man Utd and is not yet ready to play despite being spotted back at Hotspur Way this week.

Mudryk, meanwhile, has managed just one appearance for Spurs since joining from London rivals Chelsea on a surprise season-long loan deal on Deadline Day in the summer, coming off the bench against Nottingham Forest on September 5 before sustaining an ankle injury in training.

Tosin - who moved from Stamford Bridge to Tottenham on a permanent transfer - made his first start for his new club against Coventry in the Premier League last month, impressing but also suffering a calf problem that has ruled him out of the last two games against Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

“Savio, Bergvall, Mudryk (are out),” Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi said at his pre-Leeds press conference on Friday. “Tosin is available, yesterday he came inside with the group.”

Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons remain long-term absentees for Tottenham as they continue their comebacks following respective anterior cruciate ligament injuries suffered in the second half of last season.

However, De Zerbi recently revealed that winger Odobert was expected to return to Spurs training after Christmas, while reports this week stated that Simons was set to be back working with his team-mates later in November.

That could put the Dutch international on track to play in late December at the earliest, which would still be months ahead of schedule and a huge boost for Tottenham.
