The comedian, 51, says all sexual contact was consensual and suggested his six accusers 'reimagined' the encounters they had with him after seeing media reports of his alleged sexual misconduct.
'Silly walk then rape'
The first alleged rape happened in 1999 in Bournemouth when Ms A, then 28, was attending the Labour Party conference, the court heard.
They chatted and he 'appeared to be very interested' in 'what she had to say about women's issues'. Ms A agreed to continue their conversation in his hotel room.
After she used the bathroom, she was shocked to find him topless, wearing 'budgie smuggler' underpants 'and prancing around the room a bit like an ostrich, doing silly walks like Basil Fawlty', said prosecutor Riel Karmy-Jones KC. Brand then pushed Ms A on to the bed.
Ms Karmy-Jones said: 'She remembers the weight of him on top of her, she couldn't move. She was finding it hard to breathe, but she recalls trying not to let him kiss her and saying "no".'
He allegedly did 'things with his tongue... like a lizard' before raping her. Then he got dressed and apologised 'for how quick things had been and saying he had to get back to his mum'.
Brand accepted he had been in Bournemouth but said he did not remember Ms A.

'Dragged into toilet'
His second alleged victim, Ms B, was 33 and working at TV station MTV Europe when she met Brand in the reception in 2001.
Ms B had made a remark about his T-shirt with 'I Am Spartacus' written on it, the court was told. He had replied: 'You can have it' – before asking her where the toilets were.
When she showed him, Brand allegedly grabbed her forearm, urging: 'Come in, go on, come in,' with 'a desperate wild-eyed look on his face', said the prosecutor. Ms B said 'are you mad - get off me' before managing to pull herself away. Brand declined to answer police questions.
'Don't be a spoilsport'
In July 2004, Ms C went to a birthday party at a bar in Soho with a friend to which Brand was also invited. He allegedly 'grabbed her arm... and pulled her into the toilets'.
Ms Karmy-Jones said Brand 'unzipped his trousers' and forced Ms C to perform a sex act on him despite her protesting: 'What are you doing - I don't want to do this.
'He just said, "Oh come on, don't be a spoilsport"... or something along those lines.'
Afterwards, Ms C recalled leaving the club but then 'being steered into the back of a car' and Brand getting in.
The comedian allegedly urged Ms C to perform a sex act on him again, to which she just said: 'No, no.' He was said to have laughed and appeared to accept the refusal.
Brand told police he did not recall Ms C but said that it was 'possible' they had engaged in sexual activity that had 'since been re-imagined'.

Brand, pictured outside court on Wednesday, has been charged with three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault
'Kissed aggressively'
Ms D was at a radio station when she walked past Brand around 2004. He pushed her against a wall and kissed her 'sloppily and aggressively', the court heard.
Ms Karmy-Jones said: 'It was very wet. During this assault, he also grabbed her body, at her breasts, sides and buttocks - aggressively.'
Ms D tried to push him off but he was too strong. 'It was all quite rough, fast and frenzied,' said the prosecutor. Ms D finally managed to push him away – after which he 'sniggered like it was a joke'.
Brand told police any sexual contact would have been 'consensual'.
'Clean up your mess'
Ms E was 21 when her father gave her tickets to Brand's stand-up show, Scandalous, at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2009.
After he boasted on stage of inviting women to his dressing room for sex, she and her friend ended up there. Ms E performed a sex act but stopped short of full intercourse.
Ms E later visited Brand at his home in Hampstead, north London. He ordered her to have a shower while he watched, then told her to brush her teeth.
After they had consensual sex, Brand anally raped her, she alleges, which 'hurt, a lot'. Ms Karmy-Jones said that when Brand finished, he didn't say 'sorry' but told her to 'clean up the mess you have made', which included her blood.
She did as she was told, while Brand turned on the TV, she said.
The next summer, Ms E bumped into Brand again while she was working at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Brand allegedly sent her a text message, saying: 'You're dirty, and I wanna push you further.' When she told him 'you treated me like an animal,' he responded by text: 'I'm sorry.'
Brand told police in a prepared statement he had never engaged in non-consensual sexual activity.
'Channel 4 massage'
The sixth woman, Ms F, was working for Channel 4 when she met Brand at a Soho studio in 2009.
The 28-year-old woman was informed Brand was 'unhappy' and the situation would not improve unless she gave him a massage, the court heard.
Brand then allegedly walked up to a chair the woman was sitting on and placed his head directly into her groin area, saying 'come on then, do it,' leaving Ms F feeling 'startled and incredibly uncomfortable'.
Brand repeated his statement to police that consensual incidents had been 'reinvented or imagined'.
