Stacey Solomon has said it is a “dream come true” to join The Masked Singer UK.
The TV personality, 36, will be part of the panel for the upcoming season of the ITV reality singing competition.
Solomon will be part of the new Wild Cards panel of detectives, headed up by Alan Carr.
They will work together to go up against Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross, who are now known as the Legends and will battle to prove they are the best guessers.

“I’m so excited to be joining Alan Carr’s team on The Masked Singer!” Solomon said.
“Me and my family have been huge fans of the show.
“We have the best time trying to guess who’s behind the mask, so actually joining Alan’s group of detectives and playing against the Legends is a dream come true.
“I can’t wait to start sleuthing and hopefully unmask a few more superstars…!”
Solomon rose to fame as a contestant on talent show The X Factor in 2009, where she finished in third place.
The following year, she won the tenth series of the ITV reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

She has also been a panellist on Loose Women, presents the BBC reality series Sort Your Life Out, and has been a guest judge on Britain’s Got Talent.
Carr’s addition to The Masked Singer panel was announced in July, with a post on Instagram seeing the comedian unmask himself.
Wearing a vibrant pink suit with mirror decals over the lapel, Carr unmasked himself and said: “It’s me, Alan Carr. I’m sick and tired of watching that panel make terrible guesses.”
“I’ve been Red Panda. I’ve been Teeth – I don’t know why they thought of me,” he joked, referencing his past appearances on the show.
Carr continued: “I’m joining the panel, and I’m going to bring something that they desperately need – intelligence.
“Watch out Jonathan, Maya, Davina, and Mo – because I’m bringing my own detectives to rival yours. And we’re not here to play. We’re here to win.”
Also describing the role as a “dream come true”, he added: “I can’t wait to play detective – so excited to be shouting ‘take it off’ in the actual studio rather than on my settee at home.”
The ITV singing competition, hosted by Joel Dommett, sees celebrities perform wearing elaborate costumes while a panel of judges is tasked with guessing who is beneath the mask.
The Masked Singer will return for its eighth series in 2027 and will be available to watch on ITV1 and ITVX.
