Tess Daly and Vernon Kay have reunited on a family holiday, months after they announced their split after 22 years of marriage.
Earlier this year, the pair released a joint statement sharing that they had “made the decision to separate amicably”, adding that there were “no other parties involved in this decision”.
The former Strictly Come Dancing host, 57, and Radio 2 DJ, 52, share daughters Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 17, and said that they would “remain great friends and, most importantly, [were] fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents”.
In an Instagram carousel uploaded by Daly on Wednesday, 2 September, the family of four can be seen enjoying some quality time together on holiday in France.
In one snap, the parents and their two girls can be seen smiling for a photo whilst sitting at a restaurant.
Other pictures include the 57-year-old posing as she stands on the deck of a yacht, a mirror selfie of Daly and eldest daughter Phoebe, and Daly sitting on a wall overlooking a town.
“Last blast of South of France summer with the fam,” Daly captioned the post which she shared to her more than 900,000 followers.
Friends and fans flocked to the comments to praise the couple for still spending time as a family despite their separation.
“Love that you all stick together. So cool and inspirational,” wrote former Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo, whilst Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh commented a series of love hearts.
One fan wrote: “Tess, Vernon, really pleased to see this, you are an inspiration,” whilst another added: “I wish more families could be like that ,they love their children the kids don’t have to choose perfect result for them all.”
The pair met while working as up-and-coming TV presenters for rival channels in 2001, crossing paths at a BBC Christmas party.
Kay proposed on Christmas Day 2002 at Daly’s parents home, and the pair married the following September near his hometown of Bolton, just 20 miles from where Daly grew up in Stockport.
Sharing the news of their split earlier this year, the pair wrote in an Instagram post: “After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably.
“This has not been an easy choice, but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire for what is best for both of us.
“We remain great friends and most importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority. There are no other parties involved in this decision.
“We kindly ask for privacy during this time as we navigate this transition together.”
