Three men stabbed outside Liverpool LGBT+ nightclub with suspect on the run

Three people are in hospital after being stabbed in Liverpool city centre. Officers were called to Tithebarn Street in Liverpool city centre at around 6.35am today (Sunday) after three men were found injured. Merseyside Police confirmed that the victims have been taken to hospital. Two of the men are in a stable condition and the third suffered minor injuries. It is believed that the incident took place outside G-Bar on Eberle Street. A cordon remains in place this morning as police continue to carry out investigation work. CCTV, forensic and witness enquiries are continuing in the area.

Police have launched a manhunt following the triple stabbing on Tithebarn Street around 6.35am on Sunday morning.

The stabbing took place outside the G-Bar on Eberle Street following an ‘altercation,’ Merseyside Police said.

One nearby resident, Blake Chen, 30, said he was woken up by screaming at around 5.30am and saw police cars, ambulances and a police cordon was put in place.

The suspected weapon has been recovered and will be forensically examined while the manhunt continues.

Detective Chief Inspector Lisa McNaughton said: ‘We understand the concern that such a serious incident will cause in the community. This is why it is so vital that anyone with information comes forward as a matter of urgency.

‘It appears that some form of altercation broke out near to G-Bar, resulting in the three victims sustaining injuries.
