Train services have been suspended until further notice due to an ongoing security alert in Lurgan, County Armagh.

Translink said a rail replacement bus substitution service is in place between Belfast and Portadown. Dublin passengers will travel by bus between Belfast and Newry.

Passengers are being advised to check before they travel and to allow extra time for their journey.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said they are investigating a report of suspicious circumstances on Lake Street, Lurgan, on Friday night.

Meanwhile organised line closures are in place between Londonderry and Coleraine with substitution buses operating.
