The summer window has been and gone, but Premier League clubs remain active in the transfer market with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham still exploring potential deals ahead of January. Arsenal have completed the signing of young striker Vincent Joseph from Liverpool and also hold an interest in Rio Ngumoha.

Rodrygo, Kenan Yildiz and Eli Junior have also been linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium, while the Gunners have been handed a boost over long-term target Julian Alvarez as he plots to change agents. Chelsea are expected to sign a replacement for Enzo Fernandez and have been backed to complete a deal for Alex Scott. Liverpool could be the destination for Lamine Camara and Rayan as Bayern Munich seek to bring Florian Wirtz back to Germany.

The forgotten ex-Man Utd man Tyrell Malacia has found himself a new club, signing with FC Cincinnati of the MLS on a one-plus-one deal.

He left Old Trafford as a free agent at the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.

Everton want £79.8m for Branthwaite

Jarrad Branthwaite, named in the England squad for the upcoming international window, is attracting interest from Real Madrid.

That is according to GOAL, who claim the Everton defender is also on the radar of several Premier League clubs.

The report adds that Alvarez has already held talks with The Elegant Game, the agency run by former player Javier Pastore, which also represents Enzo Fernandez.

Isak explains Liverpool move

Alexander Isak has said joining Liverpool last summer was an "easy decision".

"[Liverpool] is a massive club, and everything about the club made it pretty clear," he told BBC Sport's The Football Interview.

"And the club's ambition and the club's will to get me in as well. It was a big part of it."

Chelsea hopes of Camara deal revealed

Monaco have admitted that a Lamine Camara sale could be possible in the January transfer window, putting both Chelsea and Liverpool on alert.

The Senegal international was close to joining Chelsea in the summer as a replacement for Enzo Fernandez, who left to join Manchester City for £125million on transfer Deadline Day.

The Blues continue to be linked with the midfielder, as are Liverpool, and hopes of reviving a deal in January have been raised with Monaco’s CEO Thiago Scuro revealing the club’s transfer plan.

Arsenal set for windfall

Monaco have confirmed plans to sell Folarin Balogun in January, meaning Arsenal are in line to bank a transfer windfall.

The Gunners were on course to do so in the summer window when it appeared Balogun was on his way back to the Premier League after Everton had agreed £40million deal with Monaco.

However, the move broke down in the 11th hour on transfer Deadline Day as the USMNT striker reportedly felt the club were going behind his back to sign someone else amid links to Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee.
