There is just four days left of the summer window, meaning time is running out for the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham to finalise deals before Tuesday’s deadline. The three biggest deals in the offing could see Julian Alvarez join the Gunners, as Liverpool book a medical for Bradley Barcola and Enzo Fernandez pushes to join Man City.

The Gunners have been handed a deadline of Sunday to wrap up the signing of Alvarez, to allow Atletico Madrid to sign a replacement. They have been linked with Gabriel Jesus in a intriguing transfer twist, while fresh links with Marcus Rashford have emerged as Gabriel Martinelli heads to Saudi Arabia. Liverpool have missed out on Ibrahim Mbaye, but are still pushing to sign Ismailia Sarr before the deadline.

Chelsea have set to announce the arrivals of both Emi Martinez and Honest Ahanor, and could yet sign Lamine Camara and Alex Scott if Fernandez leaves. Tottenham remain keen to sign Cody Gakpo as their final signing of a stunning window. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Enzo Fernandez agrees Man City personal terms

Enzo Fernandez has reached a verbal agreement on personal terms with Manchester City ahead of a potential move from Chelsea, reports Fabrizio Romano.

City have yet to submit an official bid, but further contact between City and Chelsea is expected soon with the clock ticking before Tuesday’s deadline.

Fernandez could be left out of Chelsea’s squad again this tomorrow as uncertainty continues to surround the Argentina international’s future.

Tottenham reject Sunderland loan offer for Kevin Danso

Tottenham Hotspur have rejected a season-long loan offer from Sunderland for defender Kevin Danso.

The Austria international made his first appearance of the season in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup victory over Charlton, coming off the bench in the second half.

However, Danso could struggle for regular first-team football following Tottenham’s arrivals of Marcos Senesi and Jan Paul van Hecke, while Micky van de Ven has also signed a new contract and been named captain.

It remains to be seen whether Sunderland will return with another offer for the 27-year-old, who has made 37 appearances for Spurs since joining permanently from Lens for £20.9m in 2025.

Marli Salmon sets big target after signing first Arsenal contract

Marli Salmon says he wants to attack the season after signing his first professional contract with Arsenal.

“A lot of hard work that went into this, a lot of ups and downs, but I'm so proud,” the 17-year-old said.

"It's always a good experience to be around [the first team]. You learn so much, not even just on the pitch, but off the pitch, about how they prepare and how they carry themselves.

“It's valuable, I'm so grateful for who I've got here. You get to learn and see them in person, you see so much detail, it's very good.

"I'm looking forward to attacking the season. I gave myself a good start, so let's see what it holds."

Chelsea agree two more deals as transfer overhaul ramps up

David Datro Fofana and Caleb Wiley have become the latest players to leave Chelsea before the transfer deadline.

The Blues have been focused on trimming their large first-team squad before the summer window closes for business at 11pm BST on Tuesday night (September 1).

Standard Sport understands that striker Fofana has now sealed a move to Swiss side Servette FC, while left-back Wiley has joined Preston.

Fofana’s is a permanent transfer worth an initial €2.5million (£2.1m) plus a further €1m (£856,000) in add-ons, while Wiley heads back to the Championship on a season-long loan.

Bradley Barcola 'confirms' Liverpool shirt number he will 'never let go'

Bradley Barcola has already confirm what shirt number he will wear at Liverpool.

Barcola will become Liverpool's headline signing of the summer, replacing the departed Mohamed Salah, with just a few days of the transfer window left to run.

While Salah wore the no11 shirt number at Anfield, Barcola is expected to pick another number which he will "never let go".

In an interview with Club Legacyz last year, Barcola explained his preferred shirt number choice.

He said: "It’s actually a funny story.

"When I was younger, I used to play FIFA. In the story mode with Alex Hunter, this number became symbolic for me. I thought to myself: 'The day I go pro, it’ll be number 29.'

"And here I am, I adopted it, and now I’ll never let it go."

Alex Hunter was the main character in FIFA’s ‘The Journey’ story mode, starting in FIFA 17, where players could embody the player and guide him through the ranks from non-league to the top of the game.

Fans have often compared Hunter to that of Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford, who emerged around the same time of Hunter’s first appearance.

As Bradley Barcola prepares to have his Liverpool medical, more details regarding the deal have emerged.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool will pay a guarantee £106m, plus a further £17m in potential add-ons.

It makes it less than the £125m Liverpool paid for Alexander Isak last summer.

The Athletic report that Barcola will undergo his medical over the weekend, having agreed a five-year contract.

Tottenham want Cody Gakpo or Iliman Ndiaye

Tottenham are not done yet in the transfer market, as they want one of Cody Gakpo or Iliman Ndiaye to conclude their summer business.

According to The Guardian, Everton value Ndiaye at around £80m while Gakpo could cost a tad less at around £75m.

Manchester City are also interested in both.

Spurs could offer Richarlison to Everton in part-exchange.

Arsenal go back in for Endrick

Arsenal have reportedly made a fresh enquiry about Real Madrid forward Endrick as they continue their search for a new left-sided attacker.

According to TEAMtalk, the Gunners are assessing several options and have also identified two alternative targets to Julian Alvarez. Arda Guler has also been mentioned in talks with Madrid.

Real Madrid’s stance on Endrick remains a key factor, with the Brazilian youngster facing increased competition for places at the Bernabeu.

Marseille’s Igor Paixao is another new name being mentioned, along with Lyon’s Malick Fofana.

Bradley Barcola set for Liverpool medical

Bradley Barcola is ready to have his Liverpool medical after Paris Saint-Germain accepted a bid worth more than £110million for him.

The 23-year-old is expected to travel to Merseyside for a medical once he gets the green light from PSG, which is imminent.

Only minor details are now left to finalise as Liverpool wrap up a third deal worth well over £100m in a little over a year.

Because of registration requirements, Barcola will not be available for Liverpool's game against Nottingham Forest, regardless of when the transfer is officially announced.

Liverpool's next fixture, an away match against Ipswich on Friday, September 4, has been earmarked as Barcola's debut.

Habeeb Ogunneye has bid farewell to Manchester United ahead of completing a transfer to Arsenal.

understands Arsenal have secured the services of the defender after reaching a full agreement with Man United last week.

Furthermore, Ogunneye was at the Arsenal's training ground last Thursday to undergo a medical and the 20-year-old right-back will sign for the Gunners on a free transfer that includes a 40 per cent sell-on clause.

It is understood that Ogunneye will primarily be involved with the Arsenal under-21s, but he is also set to get opportunities to train with the first-team.

While there has yet to be an official announcement of the transfer, Ogunneye has now all but confirmed the move with a farewell post to Man Utd on Instagram.
