According to CaughtOffside, both clubs have carried out checks on the 24-year-old, with Liverpool receiving particularly positive reports on his defensive qualities and versatility. Aramburu can also operate at left-back.
The Venezuela international has impressed in La Liga with his one-on-one defending and ability to contribute going forward. Tottenham, Newcastle, Everton and Fulham have also reportedly watched the defender.
Aramburu is under contract with Real Sociedad until 2030, but his deal contains a release clause worth around £50million.
Tottenham reject Richarlison offer from Shabab Al Ahli
Tottenham have rejected a bid from Shabab Al Ahli for Richarlison after the UAE club made an approach to sign the Brazilian striker.
Shabab Al Ahli were keen to bring Richarlison to the UAE, with former Olympic coach Andre Jardine reportedly pushing for a reunion with the forward.
Richarlison is said to have considered the possibility of making the move, but the proposal did not meet Tottenham’s asking price.

Arsenal set to open talks over Endrick move
Arsenal have opened the door to a potential January move for Endrick, with talks between the Brazilian’s representatives and Real Madrid now expected to take place.
According to TEAMtalk, Endrick’s representatives are set to meet Madrid during the upcoming international break to discuss his development and prospects under Jose Mourinho. Arsenal remain in contact with the striker’s camp and are keen to explore a deal.
Endrick returned to Madrid after spending the second half of last season on loan at Lyon, but he has struggled to establish himself in Mourinho’s plans. Competition from Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Arda Guler, Brahim Diaz and new arrivals has further complicated his route into the first team.
However, Endrick has not given up on his Real Madrid future, while the club remain reluctant to lose a player they consider a major talent. Arsenal are not the only Premier League side interested, with Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Fulham also having explored his situation.
Race hots up for Madueke
Football Insider reports that Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on Noni Madueke, with the winger potentially available for a move away from Arsenal in January.
The 24-year-old has struggled for regular minutes amid increased competition from Max Dowman, and he has not started a single league game for the champions this term.
Liverpool eye Mitchell
Ekrem Konur claims that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell as they consider options to strengthen that side of their defence.
The 27-year-old has emerged on Liverpool’s radar as a potential free transfer addition at Anfield, with Milos Kerkez struggling for form since his move from Bournemouth last year.
Liverpool lead race for Kees Smit
Liverpool are among the clubs keeping a close eye on Netherlands midfielder Kees Smit, reports claim.
TEAMtalk claims that the Reds had scouts watching Smit in action during AZ Alkmaar’s 1-0 Europa League defeat by Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Thursday evening.
However, Liverpool look to be far from the only club interested in the highly-rated 20-year-old, who made his senior Dutch debut back in March.
Chelsea and Tottenham are also said to be eyeing Smit, along with Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Crystal Palace.
Arsenal look to be interested in both Eli Junior Kroupi and Kevin Schade ahead of the January transfer window.
The Gunners did not strengthen in attack nearly as much as they would have liked in the summer, missing out on high-profile deals for the likes of Julian Alvarez, Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Jr.
But they should put that right in the New Year, with football.london suggesting that Bournemouth star Kroupi and Brentford forward Schade are both among the names to watch ahead of the market reopening.
Man Utd plan to find next Estevao or Endrick
As they potentially prepare to lose one much-hyped youth talent in JJ Gabriel, Manchester United are increasingly focused on finding the next great players from Brazil, per reports.
According to Sport Witness, Man Utd and Chelsea are both keeping a close eye on the academy of Brazilian giants Palmeiras in an attempt to discover the next Estevao or Endrick.
It is not currently clear which players in particular they are targeting, but the presence of scouts from both clubs sounds like it has been growing over recent months.
Manchester United look to be fast running out of hope in their desperate efforts to keep hold of JJ Gabriel.
Last week came the bombshell news that one of the most highly-rated youth talents in all of Europe had asked to leave Old Trafford with immediate effect.
That has inevitably led to swift interest in his signature from big clubs across the continent, with Gabriel’s camp understand to now be in talks with both Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also eager to sign the 15-year-old, who is currently in Barcelona with his family, per Sky Sports.
They say that talks with the LaLiga giants are “advancing”.

Julian Alvarez to change agents in new twist
Stand by for yet another new twist in the long-running Julian Alvarez to Arsenal transfer saga.
The Argentine striker looked to be furious at being denied a summer exit from Atletico Madrid, having dreamed primarily of a big-money switch to LaLiga rivals Barcelona.
Alvarez could yet leave the Metropolitano Stadium in January, with Arsenal seemingly not giving up hope of a blockbuster deal for the ex-Manchester City frontman.
A change of agents could help towards that end, with reports in Spain claiming that the player is considering ending his partnership with Fernando Hidalgo and has held talks with sports management agency ‘The Elegant Game’, which is run by former Argentina star Javier Pastore.
