Hull made six signings on transfer deadline day, bringing in Tim Iroegbunam, Ilyas Ansah, Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Sorba Thomas and Christos Mouzakitis for undisclosed fees and Robinio Vaz on loan.

Everton midfielder Iroegbunam, Union Berlin striker Ansah, Genoa right-back Norton-Cuffy and Olympiacos midfielder Mouzakitis have each agreed five-year deals at the MKM Stadium.

Forward Vaz then joined from Roma on a season-long deal, with an option to sign him permanently, before the arrival of Thomas, who has signed on a four-year deal after scoring 10 goals and adding 13 assists in the Championship last season.

The deal to sign Norton-Cuffy has seen fellow full-back Cody Drameh move in the opposite direction to Serie A outfit Genoa.

Liam Millar has also left for Birmingham on loan, just three days after scoring the winner at Coventry.

Enzo Fernandez has revealed he has not been in a good place after confirming his move from Chelsea to Manchester City.

The Argentina international’s £125million switch to Man City - a joint British transfer record - has been announced following a breakthrough in talks between the two clubs on Deadline Day.

This comes after Fernandez was left out of the Chelsea matchday squads for wins over Luton and Brighton over the past week.

In a farewell message to Chelsea fans on Instagram, Fernandez has admitted he has suffered a lot in recent days, upon reflecting on his time at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester United declined the opportunity to sign Rayan Ait-Nouri from Manchester City on Deadline Day.

The Algerian full-back, 25, joined City in 2025 but has struggled to impress himself on the first team, and appears to be in search of improved first-team minutes after he was knocked down the pecking order by the emergence of Nico O’Reilly. He has been left on the bench in City’s first two matches of the Premier League season.

At surface level, it seemed a move might suit all parties, but it broke down due to City’s conditions of sale.

understands United contacted City to discuss a move on Tuesday afternoon and enquired after a potential loan.

City, however, were only interested in letting Ait-Nouri leave on loan with an obligation to buy. United sources say there was no interest in a permanent move and walked away.

Fulham have confirmed the Deadline Day signings of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Larsson, Real Madrid’s Manuel Angel, and Elche’s David Affengruber.

After tasting defeat in both of his first two Premier League outings, Arbeloa has once again gone shopping at Valdebebas, this time coming back with 22-year-old midfielder Angel.

The Spaniard has signed a three-year deal with an option for a further 12 months. Arbeloa named him captain of his Real Madrid Castilla side, and later handed him his first-team debut after both men were promoted mid-season.

He joins as one half of a midfield overhaul, with 12-cap Sweden international Larsson completing the new arrivals.

understands he has joined up on an initial one-year loan, which will be made permanent for £18.3m. The club have confirmed he will sign a long-term deal.

The 25-year-old centre-back Affengruber, meanwhile, has touched down in west London and signed a four-year contract with a club option for a further 12 months. Fulham spent £8.5m to secure his services.

Manchester United moved to sign Leicester’s Louis Page on Deadline Day, but talks fell through as they failed to agree a fee with the Foxes.

Per reports in The Athletic, the 18-year-old could have cost United as much as £15m, but they could not find common ground with Leicester.

It ended up being a quiet Deadline Day for United, who added no fresh faces to Michael Carrick’s squad.
